About Us
The NAA was formed in 2016 between the three Ambulance Trusts - North East Ambulance Service Foundation Trust, North West Ambulance Service and Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
The Alliance was formed to collaborate and work together to address the challenges across the health sector in the most productive way.
By taking the initiative with this tri-party approach, the founding Trusts were able to share best practice and make the most of the combined expertise of all of their colleagues.
In 2017 East Midlands Ambulance Trust joined the NAA and the Alliance has continued to offer a credible forum to discuss and develop new ideas and to apply tried and tested solutions that have already been trialed in one or more of the partner Trusts.
The Alliance enables relationship building across organisations, not just at the most senior level but at every level, amongst those staff who have a shared understanding and experience of working in the ambulance service.
