The NAA Board

The NAA consists of the four Ambulance services covering the North of England and East Midlands:  North East (NEAS); North West (NWAS); East Midlands (EMAS) and Yorkshire (YAS).

The aim of the alliance is to create a collaborative approach of working together to improve health outcomes for patients and deliver greater benefits for the populations it collectively serves.

The NAA has established a Board (NAAB) consisting of their Trust Chairs and Chief Executives that focuses on agreed strategic priorities across the footprint of the northern ambulance services.

The NAA Board is responsible for guiding the overall strategic direction of the NAA, including planning for our current challenges and future priorities – ensuring that we can set and meet our objectives.

The NAA Board, meets bi-monthly in addition to a monthly Chief Executive Group Meeting.
